PANO – Vietnamese contestant Tran Thi Bich Ngoc and her Chinese rival Jiang Dongjian on December 28th successfully fought off stiff competition to become the co-winners of the sixth Vietnam-China Friendship Singing Contest 2015.

The final round included two parts. In the first part, five Chinese contestants emotionally performed Vietnamese songs, while five Vietnamese contestants demonstrated their skills in signing Chinese songs. In the second part, the finalists sang songs in their mother language.
The organizers also presented four second and four third prizes to other contestants with good performances.
Jointly held in Hanoi by the Vietnam Music Dance and Song Theatre, the Military University of Culture and Arts, and the Guangxi People’s Radio, the 2015 Vietnam-China Friendship Singing Contest was part of final activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam-China diplomatic ties.
