Vi giam festival to open later this month
PANO - Twenty five vi giam (folk singing in Central Vietnam) clubs will participate in the fourth Vi Giam Festival to take place in Ha Tinh province from August 24 to 27.

The information was revealed at a press conference on August 7 in Vinh city, Nghe An province.
The event is part of the national action program on preserving and bringing into full play the values of the Nghe Tinh folk singing after it was recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage element of mankind.
After the festival, best vi giam performances will be introduced to the public in Hung Nguyen district, Vinh city of Nghe An province, Cam Xuyen and Can Loc districts of Ha Tinh province.
