The event also saw the participation of former senior leaders of the Party and State, leaders from central ministries and agencies, provinces and cities, and tens of thousands of tourists and locals.

This year’s festival, themed “Dalat flowers – Symphony of colors,” runs from December 5 to the end of 2024, featuring 10 main programs, namely opening ceremony, flower spaces, an international conference titled “Dalat’s development of green tourism and cultural industries based on natural resources, biodiversity, and local culture,” an expo of OCOP products, an art program themed “Bao Loc - City of tea fragrance and silk colors,” vegetable and flower market fair, streets showcasing wine, tea, coffee, and Dalat specialties, street carnival titled “Flowers and Heritage,” Dalat-Chuncheon (South Korea) international art exchange, and New Year’s Eve art performance, and closing ceremony.

In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh commended the Party Committee, government, and people of Lam Dong province and Da Lat City for their relentless efforts and significant achievements over the years. He emphasized that the 10th Dalat Flower Festival reaffirms Dalat’s status as Vietnam’s City of Flowers Festival, a hallmark of the picturesque highland city, a UNESCO Creative City of Music, and one of the “Top five impressive festival cities in Asia.”

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his confidence that the Party, government, and people of Lam Dong will continue to unite and leverage the province’s potential to build a prosperous and happy society. He encouraged the city to lead as a model of green growth and sustainable development by promoting tourism and services while preserving cultural identity, contributing to the nation’s aspirations in this new era of growth and transformation.
