The Tea and Coffee Culture Week has been held in the southern province of Can Tho with the participation of 151 businesses from Ho Chi Minh City and Southeast provinces and cities in the Mekong River Delta Region.
Various tea and coffee products are being showcased at nearly 200 stalls at the Can Tho International Exhibition Centre. The event will last until January 20th.
The ongoing event, jointly held by the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association and the Vietnam Tea Association, aims to create favourable conditions for domestic businesses to promote their products, seek business opportunities and meet shopping demands of local people for the coming Tet festival.
Earlie,r in late December, hundreds of businesses and thousands of visitors took part in the 3rd Lam Pong Tea Festival 2010 in Bao Loc District, Lam Dong Province.
