According to Nguyen Van Tao, Deputy Head of Group 16 in Phu Tan ward, the public space has attracted not only older people but also children. It has become the center of the local community. Local people have joined hands to make a safe fence and beautify the space. Now it is safe place for all.
Le Quang Binh, a coordinator of the network said that people often thought public spaces are parks, lakes, squares, pedestrian streets in the center of the city. However, such small public spaces in residential areas are very important to connect local people, contributing to making Hanoi a worth-living place.
