PANO - On November 18, the Vietnam Heritage Magazine of the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Association wrapped up the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards 2016 and handed over prizes to excellent photos.

This year’s event focused on four major topics, including nature, tangible culture, intangible culture, and Vietnamese dailylife plus the special topic of "Vietnam's rivers". According to the organizers, the contest attracted over 500 photographers, including 14 foreigners, with total 5,540 entries.

The first prize for the Single Photo category went to "Ro som" by Le Quoc Minh, while the second and third prizes were handed over to "Truoc gio dien" by Nguyen Hoa Binh and "Song lua song doi" by Pham Duc Minh, respectively.

The first prize in the Photo Album category went to "Duong sat Vietnam" by Le Duc Thanh.

For the topic of "Vietnam's rivers", the organizing panel handed over the first prize for the Single Photo category to "Pho ben song" by Thai Quan Chung and the first prize for Photo Album category to "Song Nho Que" by Tran Binh An.
