Over 500 children compete in “Reading for future” contest
PANO -A competition entitled “Reading for future” was launched on September 9 at the Hanoi Children’s Palace, drawing the participation of more than 500 children aged between 6 and 15.
The contest aimed to develop a reading movement and gradually form a reading culture among teenagers. It also honored values of and underlined the role of books in studying, practicing and developing social skills for children.

During the six-month competition, contestants will undergo six rounds with six topics in line with their knowledge, namely the national history, Uncle Ho and other Vietnamese celebrities, living skills development and financial management, scientific exploration and health protection, and development of thinking, language and love for families, teachers and friends.
The event’s organizers are the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Central Council of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization Council, the Vietnam Education Publishing House and other partners.
