Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Singing Festival 2023 kicked off

The one-week long event features different activities, namely Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Singing Festival, festival of folk singing from three regions, street festival, and a “To the land of Vi and Giam” marathon.  

The Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam Folk Singing Festival 2023 is part of the activities to mark ten years since Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam was recognized as the world intangible cultural heritages of humanity by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

The artistic program at the opening ceremony was divided into three parts, reviving the cultural space of the folk art and affirming the vitality and spread of cultural values of heritage in modern life.
