Businesswoman Nguyen Thị Bich from Hanoi is one of the contestants demonstrating her tea brewing skills.

To prepare for the contest, she has chosen shan tuyet tea and an ancient-style pot for her competition. Shan tuyet is a specialty of Ha Giang, which is picked from hundred-year-old tea trees.

The contestants have to compete in four categories of tea making, tea and snack, tea tasting and tea mixology.

Tea Masters Cup Vietnam jurors are from Ukraine, Australia, Taiwan, and Vietnam.

The competition has been held annually since 2015, honoring young tea masters and popularizing tea ceremonies.

Vietnam won in the tea and snack category.
