Localities start spring festivals
PANO – On February 18, Minh The Festival took place at a temple in Hoa Lieu village, Thuan Thien commune, Hai Phong’s Kien Thuy district. The three-day event includes rituals and festive activities.
From February 17 to 19, various activities and folk games were organized in Van Dien commune, Nghe An province’s Nam Dan district, with the participation of thousands of people.
These activities are to commemorate great contributions of King Mai Hac De.
At Con Son Pagoda in the Con Son Special National Relic site in Cong Hoa ward of Chi Linh town, eleven teams participated in the giay cake (white, flat, and round glutinous rice cake) festival. Participants competed in braying glutinous rice to make the traditional cake.
