Khmer people welcome Chol Chnam Thmay festival
PANO – Chol Chnam Thmay - one of the most important festivals of the year for the Khmer people - was held from April 14 to 16. Like other traditional festivals, most of the ceremonies during the traditional New Year Chol Chnam Thmay are taking place at pagodas.
On this occasion, the local Party Committees and authorities of the Mekong Delta region localities created favorable conditions for the Khmer people to celebrate a cozy and joyful Chol Chnam Thmay festival.
