Together with paying respect to the Hung Kings, delegates, locals, and tourists offered incense and laid flowers to commemorate Nguyen Huu Canh, the founder of Saigon.

Apart from solemn rituals, many festive activities, including Chung cake (square glutinous rice cake) wrapping and cooking competition, “Proud to be the Vietnamese” traditional camp, and decoration activities have attracted locals and visitors.

These activities, which take place during the South Liberation and National Reunification holidays, aim to educate locals and tourists about national tradition and promote culture and history tourism form to meet the demand of tourists.

Below are photos of activities at Ho Chi Minh City-based National History – Culture Park.
