HCM City to set off fireworks to welcome in 2021
HCM City will hold a 15-minute fireworks display to welcome in the new year of 2021, starting at midnight on new year’s eve.
Displays will take place at four venues at high altitude and one at a lower height.

High-altitude displays will be held at Thu Thiem Tunnel in District 2, Landmark 81, and Central Park in Binh Thanh District, and the Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11.
The other display will light up the sky at the Sai Gon Hi-tech Park in District 9.
According to a plan issued recently by the municipal People’s Committee, arts programmes will also be held around the city on new year’s eve and the evening of January 1.
Downtown streets will be bathed in colourful lights and feature special decorations.
