A youth music festival to welcome SEA Games 31 will be held. |
The festival aims to highlight youth’s peace-loving spirit, solidarity, friendship, and development and connect young people from Southeast Asian countries. It is also to popularize cultural traditions, potentials, and socio-economic achievements of Hanoi capital in particular and Vietnam in general.
Through the festival, Hanoi’s Youth Union Chapter expects to raise youth’s awareness of their role in popularizing culture and tourism of Hanoi to international friends.
The event will feature an exhibition on national flowers and national costumes of Southeast Asian countries, booths to introduce Southeast Asian cuisine, “For a united Southeast Asia” map drawing event, and a youth music festival to welcome SEA Games 31.
More especially, delegations from 11 Southeast Asia countries will tour Hanoi and visit various landscapes in the capital city and venues where SEA Games events are hosted.
To ensure the success of SEA Games 31, the city’s Youth Union chapter has worked with other associations of youth and students to assign tasks to 100 out of 5,000 registered volunteers to serve SEA Games 31.
All volunteers have demonstrated their enthusiasm, broad knowledge of culture, tourism, and people, and good command of foreign languages. They are ready to participate in all activities hosted by the Hanoi’s Youth Union Chapter and SEA Games 31’s steering board before, during, and after the games.
