French ballet to be presented in Vietnam

PANO - On June 9th, the Vietnam Prosperity Bank (VPBank), in association with the French Embassy in Vietnam and Opal Company, held the 2nd press conference to announce the special art program titled “Paris-Ballet par VPBank” at 57 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hanoi.
The press conference saw the participation of French Ambassador to Vietnam Jean-Noel Poirier; VPBank General Director Nguyen Duc Vinh; Representative of Opal Vietnam Christian de Ruty; Director of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO) Nguyen Tri Dung.

The conference was also attended by three famous dancers namely Agnès Letestu, Mathidle Frousty, and Audric Bézard and Artistic Director of the Paris-Ballet program Frédéric Fontan.
According to Artistic Director Frédéric Fontan, the program will take audiences on a journey to discovering French ballet, which is considered original for all styles of ballet worldwide.
On the music of Fauré, Adam, Bizet, and Tchaikovsky, the Vietnamese audiences will have chance to enjoy best famous performances in the world with the command of bandmaster Tetsuji Honna and French pianist Henri Barda.
At the press conference, reporters also had chance to exchange with two out of the three famous dancers about their passion for ballet and their amazing sharing in life.
The Paris-Ballet was also sponsored by Vietnam Airlines, PVI Insurance Corporation, Hanoia, Bentley and Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi.
The program will take place at the National Convention Center on June 11th in Hanoi.
