 At the seminar

17 reports sent to the seminar focused on the construction and development of Vietnam's cinema over the past 65 years with many remarkable hallmarks in line with the country’s history.

The seminar was to reaffirm the important achievements of the past 19 film festivals in the development of the national cinema and to highlight that cinema is an art form to dynamically reflect the national history, culture, society and lives of the people.

However, delegates discussed a number of issues including the absence of state-invested films, revenues, the balance between commercial and artistic films, copyrights, advertising, and distribution, especially in the trend of international integration.
