Exhibitions highlight Vietnamese women
PANO - Various exhibitions on Vietnamese women were held on March 8, on the occasion of the International Women's Day.

* The Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) opened an exhibition, named “Vietnamese women - 30 years of renewal”, on March 8 at the My Dinh National Convention Center.
The exhibition was categorized in three topics, namely “Vietnamese women contribute to developing economy, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty”, “the status of women improved”, and “The quality of life improved”.
With hundreds of images of typical women, the exhibition demonstrated moments of each individuals; and highlights of the country and the VWU over 30 years of renovation and development.
* The same day, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and the budget carrier Jetstar Pacific Airlines organized a photo exhibition, entitled “Women can do”.
The exhibition displayed photos and introductions of female pilot Ly Huong, the first female captain of Vietnam Airlines, and deputy captain Le Thi Bich Hong, the only female pilot of Jetstar Pacific.
With the message "women can do men’s jobs", the exhibition would like to pay tribute to the great efforts and great contributions of female pilots in particular and women in general to society.
