Exhibition on wounded soldiers held
PANO – An exhibition featuring the life of wounded and sick soldiers, their memories of war, and aspirations for a better future was kicked off at Tank-Armored Brigade 574 of Military Region (MR) 5 by the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the MR’s Political Department on July 12.
The event helps troops and people understand more about the resistance wars for national independence.
The displayed photos come from a contest on wounded soldiers jointly held by the Ho Chi Minh Museum, localities nationwide, military units, and the Da Nang Association for Veterans. The displayed are arranged in three themes vividly reflecting the resistance wars of the Vietnamese people for national salvation.
The nine-day long event aims to help visitors learn more about Vietnamese resistance wars for national independence as well as the good care and wholehearted support of the President Ho Chi Minh, Party, State, and whole community for wounded and sick soldiers, martyrs’ families, and national contributors. It is also to promote the “Gratitude” tradition of the Vietnamese people as well as patriotism and revolutionary spirit among young generations.
After the exhibition at Tank-Armored Brigade 574, the event will be organized for troops of units of the MR5’s armed forces.
