* Central Military Hospital 108 handed over two houses, provided free health check-ups and medicines, and presented gifts to national contributors in My Hung commune (Hanoi) and Yen Trach and Yen Ninh communes (Thai Nguyen province).

* Medical staff from Military Hospital 175 of the Ministry of National Defense on July 8 provided free health check-ups and presented medicines and gifts to wounded soldiers, families of fallen soldiers, and policy beneficiaries in Long Hai town, Long Dien district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

Earlier, the hospital's delegation visited and presented gifts to wounded soldiers under treatment at the Long Dat Convalescent Center in Ba Ria-Vung Tau. 

Head delegate, Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Duc considered the activity a chance for the hospital’s leaders and medical staff to show their sentiment to wounded and sick soldiers in the center. He also promised to take good care of national contributors.

At present, the center provides medical treatment for 60 wounded and sick soldiers with the assistance from people and units in the locality and from Military Regions 7 and 9.

* The Engineer Corps organized a “return to the root” journey for its officers and soldiers. On this occasion, they offered incense at General Vo Nguyen Giap’s tomb in Quang Binh province, the Truong Bon historical relic site in Nghe An province, the Dong Loc Junction Monument in Ha Tinh province, Truong Son and Road 9 National Martyrs’ Cemeteries and the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel in Quang Tri province. The corps handed over three houses and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Quang Tri province.

* The Department of Planning and Investment of Ministry of National Defense presented a house and gifts to Ms. Can Thi Vinh, wife of fallen soldier Tran Huy Phuong, in Thach That district, Hanoi. The 70sq.m house was constructed with financial assistance from the department, local agencies, units, authorities, and her relatives. The department announced that it will promote gratitude activities, such as offering incense in commemoration of fallen soldiers, presenting gifts to national contributors, and raising more fund for gratitude activities.

* Around 250 national contributors in Ta Long commune, Da Krong district, Quang Tri province had their health checked on July 7 by the medical staff from the Department of Logistics of the General Department of Logistics of the Vietnam People’s Army. On the occasion, the delegation presented medicines and gifts to needy national contributors and policy beneficiaries in the locality and handed the general department’s commissar’s gifts to students of Ta Long commune Primary School.

* The Department of Traffic Police of the Ministry of Public Security inquired after and presented gifts to families of its fallen troops and visited martyrs’ relatives in Hanoi. The delegation expressed deep gratitude to the great contributions of the fallen troops to the cause of national construction and protection.
