At the exhibition, the Son Tay Photography Club introduces 70 works printed on wood by photographers of the town and beyond, featuring the town’s landscapes and people, cultural traditions and revolutionary history. Notably, 20 of them depict Son Tay Ancient Citadel from the 19th and 20th centuries. Each photo shows the photographer’ sentiments towards the beauty of nature, life, the country, and people of Vietnam in general, and Son Tay in particular.

Meanwhile, the Son Tay Fine Arts Club showcases 100 paintings highlighting many aspects of life in different styles. Through these works, the artists would like to convey messages about love for nature, life, and artistic connection, to name but a few.

At the exhibition, the Son Tay Ancient Citadel Antiques Club displays a collection of antiques, including objects made of porcelain, bronze, stone and wood from different periods. These antiques hold scientific and artistic values, reflecting the characteristics of each historical period.

On the occasion, the Son Tay town Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education introduced a book named “Son Tay - Convergence and Diffusion of the Culture of the Western Land.”

The exhibition is expected to run from September 4 to 10.
