Documentary on President Ho Chi Minh in Russia to be screened
PANO - The Vietnam State Archives and Records Department and Vietnam Television will screen the documentary “Ho Chi Minh in the land of Lenin”, produced by the Soviet Central Documentary Studio in 1976, in celebration of the 127th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh.
The black and white documentary, with a length of 30 minutes 20 seconds, has been preserved at the Russian State Archives of Documentary Films.

The film records President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary activities during the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, aiming to develop the friendship between the peoples of Vietnam and the Soviet Union.
Through the documentary, viewers will watch Uncle Ho from the early days in Russia. The film also recaptured the historic victory of Vietnamese troops and people at the Independence Palace in Ho Chi Minh City.
The documentary is expected to help Vietnamese people, especially young generations, learn more about Ho Chi Minh’s journey for national salvation as well as the profound relationship between Vietnam and former Soviet Union and Russian Federation today.
