Book exhibition opened to celebrate Party’s 90th founding anniversary
PANO – The Ministry of Information and Communications, in coordination with the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information and Education and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, launched a book exhibition in celebration of the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) (February 3) on February 2 at the National Library of Vietnam.
The event saw the attendance of Vo Van Thuong, Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Information and Education; Nguyen Manh Hung, Minister of Information and Communications; Director General of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Nguyen The Ky; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics (Ministry of National Defense).

The 10,000 displayed books at the week-long exhibition gives a review of the Party’s building and its leadership over the national resistance wars against foreign invaders and in the current national construction and defense cause, as well as introduce achievements of the country in the renewal and international integration period, and Party building work in the current context.
During the exhibition, many activities will also be held such as book introduction and exchange programs.
Via the exhibition, the organizing panel wants to strengthen revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and national pride for people, while affirming the belief of party members and people in the Party's leadership during the national construction and defense cause.

* On the same day, Ho Chi Minh City's Department of Information and Communications and relevant agencies opened a program to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the CPV on Ho Chi Minh City’s Book Street.
On this occasion, many activities will be held, such as exhibiting books, introducing books on President Ho Chi Minh, displaying articles on the establishment and development of the CPV, and more.
The program aims to educate the younger generations of the contributions of the forefathers and leaders of the Party, war martyrs, and to recall the great achievements of the Party over the past 90 years.
