The newly-recognized national intangible cultural heritages are “Luon Coi” – traditional singing of the Tay ethnic minority group in Pac Nam district, Bac Kan province; forging craft of the Nung An ethnic minority group in Phuc Sen commune, Quang Uyen district, Cao Bang province; “Men Loong Phat Ai” – cockscomb Tet festival of the Cong ethnic minority group and “Ga Ma Thu” – a traditional worshipping ritual of the Ha Nhi ethnic minority group in Sin Thau, Chung Chai, Sen Thuong and Leng Su Sin in Muong Nhe district, Dien Bien province.

The Ba Danh Pagoda Festival and Quyen Son “dam” singing in Ha Nam province along with Trieu Khuc village’s festival in Tan Trieu commune, Thanh Tri district, and “Com” (young sticky rice flakes) making in Me Tri ward, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi are also included in the list.

Other heritages are “Mo Tham That” ritual of the Tay ethnic minority group in Lang Giang commune, Van Ban district and “Then” ritual of the Giay ethnic minority group in Bat Xat district of Lao Cai province; and “Cap sac” (maturity ritual) of the Dao Quan Chet ethnic minority group in Xuan Thuy commune, Yen Lap district, the Phu Tho province; the brocade weaving of the Hre ethnic people in Ba Thanh commune, Ba To district, the central province of Quang Ngai; Robam dance of the Khmer ethnic people in Tai Van commune; Nghinh Ong (Whale Worship) festival in Tran De township; Tran De district, Soc Trang province; patterns on traditional clothes of the Red Dao ethnic group in Son Duong, Ham Yen, Chiem Hoa, Na Hang and Lam Binh districts, Tuyen Quang province; and “Xuong” singing of the Muong ethic people in Thanh Hoa province.

The newly-recognized national intangible cultural heritages belong to five genres, namely folk performing arts, traditional handicrafts, traditional festivals, traditional customs and rituals, and folk knowledge.
