Activities to mark Hung Kings' death anniversary
PANO - Diverse artistic and cultural activities will be held by the Management Board of the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism to mark the death anniversary of the Hung Kings (the tenth day of the third lunar month).
These activities aim to introduce the cultural identities and customs of the people of different ethnic groups and help tourists experience various activities at the "Common House" of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Lai Chau highland fair, from April 27 to May 1, will recreate the highland market space with traditional dishes, national culture, folk games, and products of the Hmong, Dao, Thai, Muong and Kho Mu ethnic groups.
The organizers will also recreate traditional festivals, such as the La Ha ethnic festival, the swing ritual of the Ha Nhi ethnic group, the new rice festival of the Si La ethnic group, and the Ha Nhi ethnic rainy season festival.
The visitors also have opportunities to participate in many other activities, such as making cakes, joining folk games, and praying for peace and blessing in pagodas.
