PANO – An awards ceremony and an exhibition on entries of the painting contest for children, themed “I love the sea”, were held at the Fine Art, Photography Exhibition Center at 29 Hang Bai, Hanoi.

The contest was organized by Bao Viet Corporation on the occasion of the International Day for Children. Two weeks after the launch (from May 24 to June 9th), the contest organizers received 200 entries of nearly 190 children nationwide.

Most of the paintings featured various topics, including sea landscapes, sea creatures, activities of marine protection, fishermen at sea, or images of naval soldiers who are day and night safeguarding national sovereignty over seas and islands

At the awards ceremony, the organizing panel presented one special, two first, five third and 20 consolation prizes to the outstanding entries. The exhibition will last until July 16th.
