Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Hoang Giang speaks at the opening ceremony.

It is held by the National University of Singapore’s Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in collaboration with Temasek Foundation, and Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

Led by Pham Tat Thang, member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Vice Chairman of its Mass Mobilization Commission, the Vietnamese delegation is focusing on public sector governance, digital transformation, green transition, and economic development strategy, among others.

At the opening ceremony of the six-day event, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Hoang Giang highlighted the robust Vietnam - Singapore friendship and cooperation over the past five decades, adding the Vietnamese Party and State have paid due attention to exchanging information and experience in sustainable development, science - technology development, and State management with Singapore.

According to Associate Professor Vu Minh Khuong from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, the program reflects Vietnam's resolve to make extraordinary progress so as to become a developed country in the next two decades.

The first course of the program was arranged in August.
