The Deputy FM especially highlighted the official visit by Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen to Vietnam in early October, during which the two countries signed two treaties recognizing the completion of 84 percent of the workload in border demarcation and border marker planting along their land border line.

Ambassador Chay Navuth informed his guest that the National Assembly of Cambodia approved the two treaties on November 4.

He pledged to do his best during his tenure to promote the comprehensive and substantial development of bilateral ties.

The Ambassador took the occasion to affirm Cambodia’s support for Vietnam as Chair of the ASEAN in 2020 and a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
