According to the white paper, apart from armed drones and attack helicopters, the Thai Army also mentioned tanks, wheeled armored vehicles, patrol helicopters, transport aircraft, defense radar systems, territorial monitoring systems and better intelligence and communication equipment.

Chief of the Army General Charoenchai Hinthao said the white paper was distributed to help the general public know and understand the roles of the army and its development framework.

He noted that the list of weaponry is based on possible security challenges from the present to 2027.
