PANO – About 90 groups and individuals, who effectively donated to the “For Beloved Truong Sa (Spratly)” fund during the 2012-2015 period, will be honoured in Hanoi on December 25th.

This is part of a plan ratified by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Minister of National Defence, Chief of the Fund’s Steering Board.

The coming event aims to commend and reward those who have made great contributions to raising the material and spiritual life of Truong Sa troops and islanders who are firmly protecting national sovereignty over sea and islands.

The event will also beef up information dissemination to help troops and Vietnamese people at home and abroad grasp the importance of seas and islands in the national construction and protection cause.
