PANO - The Education Publishing House has recently published a 284-page book, entitled “Evidence on Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) Archipelagoes”, one of the volumes of the house’s collection on Vietnam seas and islands.
The book, written by by Dr. Han Nguyen Nguyen Nha, is based on diverse and plentiful documents collected in Vietnam and other countries with historical and legal values, such as official documents under the Nguyen Dynasty, Tay Son Administration’s sovereignty executing documents, bibliographies and old maps of Vietnam’s feudal state, and old documents and maps issued in Western countries.
The historical documents in the book confirm that Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Archipelagos belong to Vietnam.
Notably, the book’s four appendixes introduce chronological lists, some documents, maps and images of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Archipelagoes, as well as the Law of the Sea ratified by Vietnam’s National Assembly in June 2012.
