A statue of Admiral Le Thi Huyen Tram, a naval commander during the Tay Son Dynasty, has been erected on Hon Noi. According to historical documents, Le Thi Huyen Tram was appointed as the commander of the naval fleet stationed at Binh Khang Palace and manager of Hon Tre Island and fishing areas on Yen Island. She directed the exploitation and export of edible bird nests to provide financial, logistics, and military supplies to the Tay Son Dynasty.

In 1788, she was appointed as the commander of combined naval and land forces in strategic coastal areas. On May 10, 1793, during a battle to protect maritime sovereignty and the swiftlet islands, Admiral Le Thi Huyen Tram laid down her life. Local people honored Le Thi Huyen Tram as the Guardian Mother of the swiftlet islands and built temples on islands in dedication to her.
