Unique beauty of villages in Vietnam
PANO – Travelling across the S-shaped country of Vietnam, tourists easily realize that each village in the country has its own unique features and beauty. Below are some photos reflecting the unique beauty of Vietnam’s villages from the North to the South. These photos were taken in an effort to popularize Vietnam’s tourism to both domestic and international tourists and encourage the Vietnamese people to travel in Vietnam.

Muong Hum in Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province is picturesque in pouring-water season. As the first rains of the monsoon season fall on the mountainous area, local people start preparing for a new crop. Coming to Bat Xat district in May and June, tourists will easily feel a bustling atmosphere in the fields as groups of farmers reinforce their fields’ banks; some plough their fields; and others plant rice. |

A woman is taking care of her flower garden in Tay Tuu village, which is located around 20km from center of Hanoi. Covering a total area of more than 200 hectares, Tay Tuu is one of the main flower suppliers to the capital and surrounding areas, especially during the Lunar New Year holidays. In 2017, the flower village was recognized as a traditional craft village in Hanoi. Flower growers in Tay Tuu grow rose, daisy, lily, dahlia, and gerbera all year around. |

The plant is mainly grown in An Giang, Dong Thap, Long An, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, and Ca Mau provinces. Visiting these Southwestern localities, tourists will have an opportunity to experience a typical day of a farmer through interesting activities, including catching fish and collecting water spinach, water lily, sesbania sesban, or eleocharis dulcis. |
