Seventh “Horse Hooves on the Cloud” festival held in Sa Pa
PANO - These days, the seventh “Horse Hooves on the Cloud” festival is opening at the Fansipan Legend tourist area in Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province, attracting the participation of thousands of tourists nationwide.
This year’s event is divided into two phases. The first phase takes place from June 29 to July 7, while the second one is from July 12 to 22.

On the occasion, races will be held according to a competitive knockout format.
On the opening day June 29, “riders” and their “horses” from traditional Bac Ha horse races brought competitive performances and spectacular sprints to the finish line. Each day, the race has three rounds, selecting the three best jockeys to compete for first, second, and third prizes.

Visiting Sa Pa on the occasion, visitors can also experience summer with cool weather conditions, and enjoy majestic natural landscape of Hoang Lien Son range, and take photos during blooming season.
In addition to the festival, there will be many interesting activities on the sidelines of the event from July 12 to 22, bringing impressive performances to tourists.
