More than 10 households in Tan Son’s Xuan Son commune in the core area of the park offer homestay services for tourists. The households can serve a total of 300 tourists each day.
Tourists using the homestay services can experience the life of the Muong and Dao ethnic groups and enjoy their special dishes made from spring fish, bamboo shoots, glutinous rice and chicken. Tourists can also participate in the daily production of locals.
Phu Tho province aims to have the park recognized as a national tourism site and targets 30,000 visitors next year. The park receives between 5,000 and 10,000 visitors a year.
