Vietnam Airlines presents gifts to first passengers of the year
PANO – On the occasion of the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet), the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines presented dozens of thousands of bars of chocolate to passengers on its international flights from and to Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh cities on February 16 (the first lunar day of the year) to wish its customers happiness, prosperity and good luck in the Year of Dog.

The first international flight of the airlines in the lunar year took off at 00 hour 20 minutes, January 1st, carrying more than 200 passengers from Ho Chi Minh to Kansai, Japan.
Earlier on February 15 (the last day of the lunar year of the Rooster), the Minister of Transport Nguyen Van The and Deputy Chairman of the National Committee for Traffic Safety Khuat Viet Hung paid a Tet visit and extended wishes to the staff of Tan Son Nhat Airport and passengers on the last flight of the year.
The last domestic flight VN287 landed on the airport, while the last international flight took passengers to Paris, France.
