The International Tourism Exhibition 2007 (ITE) with the subject “Three nations – One destination” on Oct 5 was inaugurated at Phu Tho Sport House(Ho Chi Minh city).

Present at the ceremony were the three Miss Earth 2006, 2007: Hil Yesenia from Chile, Catherine Untalan from the Philippines and Nicole Chew from Singapore.

ITE 2007 has received the participation of about 100 international travel agencies from 29 countries and territories.

This is the first time the ITE has been designed to seek cooperation between the three Indochinese countries in building one general image as well as promoting the mutual benefits of tourism.

At the exhibition, people can also have the opportunity to meet the three Miss Earth by visiting the pavilion named “Lets protect the earth” and learn about the sustainable development of tourism through the programme “The attractiveness of the green”.
