The two localities are located in the Eastern coastal region of the Mekong Delta, in between the Tien and Hau Rivers (two branches of the Mekong River), and near the East Sea (South China Sea).
The provinces have their own tourism services and facilities, such as rivers, resorts, and cultural tourism. The combination of the two localities’ tourism is expected to attract more tourists to the area.
In addition, the program aims to popularize traditional cultural features and tourism products of the two localities, contributing to developing their economies.
This program has a special meaning in the two provinces’ sustainable tourism development strategies, as it created a good start for the two provinces to recover tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic and improve the quality of their tourist services.
