PANO - Another rice crop has ripened in Northwestern terraced fields. For years, tourists have chosen this time of the year to visit the Northwestern region, especially Mu Cang Chai district (Yen Bai province), where they can admire an imposing and poetic scenery.

The landmark is in a faraway poor mountainous area but is not so separate as local people are so hospitable and kind. Northwestern people all have such good characteristics. In not only the harvest time but also all the year round, local people treat their guests well. Visitors are invited to drink tasty wine made of corn, join the traditional dance of the Thai ethnic minority and watch young girls of the H’Mong ethnic minority choosing threads to weave brocatelle. In such a peaceful enjoyable and comfortable living environment, few visitors will not want to leave there.

The People’s Army Newspaper would like to present some images of the golden season in the Northwest region.
