Earlier, the passenger asked for an electronic visa to entering Vietnam between February 3 and March 5, and received his eVisa from the Department of Immigration (under the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security) on February 1.
Under Directive No.07/2017/ND-CP, the Vietnam Immigration Department is to grant visas to international guests through its internet-based system from February 1, 2017.
During the Tet holiday, there were around 253,000 foreigners visiting the Southern hub of Vietnam.
