In addition to introducing the culture, people, and beauty of Cao Bang province to tourists inside and outside the country, the event also held political significance. This was an occasion to promote cultural identities and preserve solidarity among ethnic minority groups, which have been nurtured for thousands of years.

In the framework of the program, many interesting activities were organized, such as performing fashion collections, displaying national costumes, performing Cao Bang folk arts, displaying beautiful photos of Cao Bang tourism and the UNESCO Non Nuoc Cao Bang global geopark, and introducing traditional crafts, among others.

In addition, the province owned 10 booths displaying tourism, cultural, and cuisine products. The organizing panel also featured two stalls introducing publications about tourist attractions, potential tourist attractions, cultures of ethnic minorities, the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark, and distributed travel gifts, to name but a few.
In the framework of the festival, the province also launched a program to introduce attractive tourist destinations in Cao Bang province.
