Director of the municipal department Bui Ta Hoang Vu said that his department will join hands with relevant organizations and agencies to organize cultural, cuisine, fashion and technology festivals in the coming time.

Furthermore, the city’s festivals will be nudged closer to domestic and international visitors through travel businesses, he said, adding that the department is striving to meet the target of welcoming 7 million tourists in 2017.

Ho Chi Minh City’s tourism sector has held a myriad of activities to draw tourists. The Ao Dai (traditional long dress) Festival 2017 alone attracted over 70,000 people and left indelible impression on the visitors.
