The city’s youth will carry out volunteer activities and community service projects through June 30. This year’s campaign includes not only volunteers from the “Green Summer” and “Pink Holiday” programs, but also members of the Vietnam Students’ Association in Singapore and international volunteers currently studying and residing at the Lao students’ dormitory.

A highlight of this year’s campaign is the organization of regular “Phu Quy Music Rendezvous” events, the creation of a mural street check-in spot, and the “Run for a Greener Phu Quy” race, all aimed at attracting tourists and enriching the island district’s cultural and sports life.

In addition, the youth of Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with other groups, are conducting various social welfare initiatives. These include providing medical consultations, health checkups, and free medication for 300 local residents and soldiers; building two playgrounds for children; donating three water purifiers to local schools; and offering scholarships and school bags to students and children in need.
