WhiteHat Grand Prix 2017's technical team 

The event attracted the participation of 277 teams from 50 countries around the world. To advance to the final round, the participating teams will answer questions on forensics, cryptography/coding, web exploitation, reverse, and pwnable (technical names for actions or strategies in this field) to access their ability.

Addressing the event, Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy-Director of the Department of Information Security considered the competition a practical forum to raise the quality of Vietnamese human resources in information security.

According to the organizers, WhiteHat Grand Prix competitions include contents relating to Vietnam, its culture, landscapes and people. Together with overcoming challenges in cyber security, the participating teams have to introduce and present a heritage in Vietnam.

The winner will be awarded VND 225 million in cash and the second and third positions will receive VND 45 million and VND 25 million in cash, respectively.
