Vietnamese wins bronze at MOSWC 2019
PANO – Tran Hoang Anh, a student from the Foreign Trade University, Hanoi, has bagged the only bronze medal for Vietnam in the Microsoft Excel 2013 category of the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship (MOSWC) 2019.
The final round of the MOSWC 2019 took place from July 28 to 31 in New York, the U.S., attracting contestants from nearly 100 countries and territories around the world.
The competition offered only one set of medals (one gold, one silver and one bronze) in each of the three categories of Microsoft Word 2013, Microsoft PowerPoint 2013 and Microsoft Excel 2013.

The Vietnam delegation this year included three contestants, namely Le Khang Hieu (Doan Thi Diem Greenfield High School, Hung Yen province), joining the Microsoft PowerPoint event; Tran Hoang Anh (Foreign Trade University), competing the Microsoft Excel event; and Nguyen Luu Hoang Anh (Dinh Thien Ly High School, Ho Chi Minh City), joining in the Microsoft Word event.
Vietnam has participated ten times in the final round of the MOSWC and has so far won 11 medals (one gold, one silver, and nine bronzes).
With the bronze medal this year, Vietnam has secured its place in the list of top ten teams of the MOSWC 2019.
