Nearly 1,000 students from six big cities in Vietnam have entered the national qualifiers of the 14th Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship (2014 MOSWC), held by IIG Vietnam (representative of the US Certiport Group).

About 90 outstanding candidates will enter the national final round in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City on April 26th. The top three contestants in the three contents of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2010 will represent Vietnam to attend the world finale in the US in July.

In the national ground, examinees can choose one of three contents mentioned above in Vietnamese or English as the testing language prepared by Certiport.

The tests are conducted online within 40-45 minutes with a maximum score of 1,000. Candidates will know their results upon completing the test. Those who are qualified will be granted with Microsoft’s globally recognized certificates

2014 is the fifth year that Vietnam joined the competition.
