Vietnamese students receive Japan’s scholarships
PANO – The Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center, in association with Japan’s Niigata International Volunteer Centre (NVC), handed over NVC scholarships, worth VND 4 million each, to 52 needy Vietnamese students with good academic records, on February 24.
Accordingly, this year’s scholars from universities in Ho Chi Minh City will receive NVC scholarships until their graduation.

Since 1988, NVC has granted nearly 1,196 scholarships, worth VND2.4 billion in total, to the Vietnamese students, to encourage needy students to overcome adversity to obtain good academic results.
Apart from scholarships, NVC regularly visits and encourages Vietnamese students to overcome challenges, contributing to strengthening solidarity between students of the two countries.
