More than 400 Vietnamese students studying in
France took part in a number of activities in support of Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange. The event was held on the sidelines of the Vietnamese Student Football Tournament in
France on April 8-9.
Vietnamese student associations in France disseminated information about the impact and consequences of the toxic chemicals that the US troops dropped onto Vietnam during the American war, and collected signatures in support of the lawsuit filed by Vietnamese Agent Orange victims against US chemical companies.
The activity is part of a cooperation programme between Vietnamese student associations and the Vietnam Dioxin Organisation in France, Collectif Vietnam-Dioxin.
