Recovered belongings of passengers on SP4 and SE4 trains, identified and returned by railway staff

Later that day, at 1:57 p.m. on November 4, while train SE4 was en route to Da Nang Station, Nguyen Thi Thoan, the attendant of coach 10A, found another passenger's forgotten items, including 15.7 million VND, 100 Euros, 30,800 Cambodian Riel, a passport, and five Visa cards, all under the name Fien Leenaerts.

The belongings, left behind by Fien Leenaerts, a travel agency client traveling from Ho Chi Minh City’s Saigon Station to Da Nang, were handed over after conductor Tran Xuan Tra of the SE4 train coordinated with the travel agency representative. They arranged to deliver the items at Hue Station and then forward them back to Da Nang for the passenger’s retrieval.

Foreign travelers frequently use Vietnam’s railway services.

Returning these items, including important documents, was particularly meaningful for the international visitors, who expressed deep gratitude to the Vietnamese railway staff for their honesty and helpfulness.
