Via the VRC Central Committee, the company donated 5,540 pieces of protective medical clothing to functional forces. In response to the Prime Minister’s and VFF’s call to fight the pandemic, this was the latest contribution of the company to the Covid-19 fight.

Nguyen Thi Xuan Thu, President of the Vietnam Red Cross said the central committee highly valued the contribution of the company during this tough time. The protective medical clothing would help ensure safety for functional forces in the Covid-19 fight.

For his part, Director General of the Company Nguyen Khac Doi, on behalf of the whole company’s staff, expressed his sincere thanks to the great efforts of the government, health workers, and relevant forces in Covid-19 prevention and control.

On the same day, the VRC and representatives of the company visited and handed over 500 pieces of protective medical clothing to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases. The remaining pieces of clothing will be sent to other hospitals in Hanoi.

In response to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the VRC held many activities, at a cost of VND 2.1 billion, to raise the public’s awareness of the disease prevention and control approaches and support people throughout the country. The activities included offering free face masks and hand sanitizer to local residents.
