Vietnam General Confederation of Labor supports flood victims
Nguyen Dinh Khang, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), on November 4 handed over VND 1 billion (USD 43,190) to residents affected by Storm Molave in central Quang Nam province.
On this occasion, VND 500 million has also been given to VGCL members who have been hit by the storm.

Extending his sympathies over storm-triggered losses to local residents and laborers, Khang expressed his hope that they will soon overcome the difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
Since late September, 235 people in the central region have been listed as dead or missing from storms and floods, which have also caused estimated economic losses of about VND 17 trillion, according to a Government report to the National Assembly on November 2.
